Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed. Data last updated January 16, 2025.

Goal #1 |
We will build capacity in all field supervisors to be able to provide actionable feedback on engaging with complex texts. |
Goal #2 |
We will implement differentiated coaching based on baseline Sibme and CAP Online data from 2023-2024 for pre-practicum and practicum supervisors. |
Goal #3 |
We will formalize a training certificate for supervising practitioners to further prepare them for mentoring teacher candidates and utilizing CAP essential elements. |

Goal #1 |
Implement updated curriculum related to the previous year's transition to a single model pre-practicum for all licensure programs with defined activities, hours, and supervision requirements. |
Goal #2 |
Implement defined supervision model for newly aligned pre-practicum experiences so that all students receive regular and actionable feedback by program personnel. |
Goal #3 |
Streamline unified processed for documenting and archiving academic action requests, licensure requirement waivers and related forms/documents. |

Goal #1 |
All license pathways will complete the transition to a single model for the pre-practicum, with defined activities, hours, and supervision. |
Goal #2 |
All stage 2 pre-practica in all programs will initiate a model that provides candidates with regular and actionable feedback by program personnel. |
Goal #3 |
Both graduate and undergraduate candidates will have access to program advising through dedicated professional staff in the Student Services Office. |
