This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed. Goal #1
Collaborate with faculty, PK-12 partners and candidates to implement successful remote pre-practicum and practicum placements that align with state standards and our high expectations.
Goal #2
Develop and implement fully online content and pedagogy coursework using the FIT (Flexible Immersive Teaching) model that delivers consistently high quality instruction while modeling best practices for our teacher candidates. https://www.mtholyoke.edu/opening-gates/academics

Introduce, advise, utilize and monitor the new SMK protocols developed for all initial programs at the bacc and post-bacc levels to ensure candidates demonstrate fluent knowledge and pedagogy at program completion.
