Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 Include the RETELL course for SEI endorsement as a requirement for all teacher licensure programs.
Goal #2 Revise syllabi in some courses of the Education Minor to reflect SEI content and pedagogy.
Goal #3 Develop and launch MAT initial licensure programs in multiple disciplines.

Goal #1 RETELL course was designed, submitted and approved by DESE.
Goal #2 Revised syllabi to reflect SEI content and pedagogy in Educ 300, Educ 330 and Educ 325.
Goal #3 MAT program was launched and graduated 2 students. Developed partnerships with local school districts and curriculum to align with Common Core State Standards.
