What else should you know about our school?
West Springfield High School (WSHS) is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges. The facility is state-of-the-art and occupies more than 273,000 square feet. It includes the latest instructional technologies, numerous large group instructional spaces, an expansive library media center, an amazing television studio, a fully equipped 650 seat auditorium, a 100 plus seat mini-theater, a 7 station gymnasium with elevated walking track, and a beautiful natatorium. The program of studies offers 20 Advanced Placement courses, including the AP Capstone Diploma. The athletic department supports 45 varsity/sub-varsity teams, and students participate in over 40 extra-curricular clubs/activities. WSHS is a 1:1 technology school; every student is assigned a Google Chromebook for use at school and home. Most important, the highly qualified educators working in the school focus on the success of all of their students and work assiduously to meet their varied learning needs.
