This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed. Goal #1
As an organizational unit, decide whether to reinstate the requirements to pass required MTELS or Alternative tests prior to entering practicum in the field.
Goal #2
Based on feedback from surveys of program completers (prior to graduation), strengthen noted areas of the BAEd program.
Goal #3
Continue to nurture partnerships via collaborative "grow your own" pathways with districts to support workforce diversity efforts and anti-racism priorities.

Goal #1
Due a reorganization which included personnel changes, re-emerge as the School of Education under the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Science and continue to maintain a strong focus on quality of Licensure Programs in the School during simultaneous DESE regulation and program approval changes, DESE's own organizational changes, and the continuing Pandemic.
Goal #2
Continue strong partnerships with schools and districts who host our candidates for field experiences; when we re-emerge from the pandemic, rejuvenate program advisory boards.
