How is our school doing overall? |
Accountability and assistance levels |
Our school |
| Among lowest performing 20% of schools |
Our district |
| One or more schools in the district classified into Level 4 |
Most schools are assigned a level from 1-5, with those meeting their proficiency gap-narrowing goals in Level 1 and the lowest performing in Levels 4 and 5.
A district is typically assigned a level based on the level of its lowest performing school. Placing schools and districts into levels helps districts know which schools need more support,
and helps the state know which districts need the most assistance.

What else should you know about our school? |
The teachers and staff of Roosevelt School work collaboratively to create and sustain excellent instruction that improves students skills in literacy, critical thinking, collaboration and communication to prepare our students for global citizenship. We have established a community of practices through leadership and shared responsibility by re-establish our ILT and creating goal specific sub groups. Our ILT focus in data analysis, rigorous lesson planning in literacy and relentless communication. The staff relentlessly works to provide a supportive, safe and orderly learning environment that emphasizes relationships marked by respectful interactions, acceptance, inclusiveness and our responsibility to one another. We established a social and emotional learning team which meets monthly to review student data, oversee all three tier supports, and to carry out school wide celebrations. All teachers participate in our renewed behavior system Random Acts of Kindness. Every year starts with a school wide read aloud and a kindness activity to go along with the book. Throughout the school year we celebrate acts of kindness. |
