What else should you know about our school? |
As an Expanded Learning Time (ELT) school, City View Discovery Elementary School has the luxury of adding on two extra hours of instructional time into our school day. This allows us a variety of opportunities to elongate our core content subjects as well as allow opportunities for students to engage in enrichment activities that help to enhance their learning. City View is a large urban school situated in the heart of downtown Worcester. We are a magnet school and attract students from all over the city of Worcester making learning unique for our students. We have made much progress as indicated through our results however we still have some work to do and are committed to focus on ensuring all of our students have access to a high quality educational experience. We are working closely with our community partnerships as well as our families to provide this rich experience. We are also committed to paving the road to college and career readiness by participating in the AVID program which supports high needs students in readiness for college. |
