| What else should you know about our school? |
| Hudson High School educates students for active citizenship in a global environment. We aim to cultivate each students passion for learning and ability to think critically and independently. Our academic program offers a wide variety of options for students across all disciplines. Courses are available at the college preparatory and honors levels. We also offer over 15 Advanced Placement courses, including AP Seminar and AP Research, the two primary components of the AP Capstone Diploma. Our extensive elective program provides students with the opportunity to extend their learning across a range of subject areas. Elective offerings include courses in writing, journalism, human attributes, law, economics, world cultures, forensic science, astronomy, music, drama, visual arts, and engineering. Our engineering program is a partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Hudson High School students have opportunities to learn online through Virtual High School and through Future Steps, a dual enrollment program offered in partnership with Quinsigamond Community College. Annual educational and service oriented travel opportunities to Peru, Africa, Portugal, and Germany are available for students across multiple grade levels. Close to 90% of Hudson High School graduates enroll in 2 or 4 year colleges annually. |
