What else should you know about our school? |
East Gloucester Elementary School works diligently to improve teaching and learning for all students. We continuously refine instruction in both literacy and math to challenge students at their level of readiness. We review MCAS data and its impact on our curriculum, students, and teachers. The reading coach, math coach, and teachers consult regularly to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional strategies as well as interventions. Our frequent progress monitoring in reading and math help to identify areas in which students continue to have difficulty. Staff engages in ongoing two way communication with parents regarding their child's progress. It is our mission for all students to be successful, engaged, lifelong learners.
