Marshall School Improvement Efforts

We are working toward higher levels of student achievement and growth by ensuring that curricula are aligned with state standards, by providing teachers with the materials and resources required to sustain high quality instruction, and by ensuring that teachers are assessing students' progress frequently and making necessary adjustments to instruction.

We are building a culture whereby Professional Learning Communities are effectively supported to provide meaningful professional development opportunities for the entire school community.

We are striving to provide a clean, safe and secure learning environment for staff and students.

We are supporting all of our educational programs by providing sufficient resources and directing those resources to address the areas of greatest need.

We are building community pride in our schools by maintaining communication with parents, by sharing important information, and by promoting school events and accomplishments to the entire school community.

We are focusing instruction to increase the percentage of students who achieve proficiency on standardized testing and other district-determined measures and working to close existing achievement gaps among subgroups.
