| What else should you know about our school? |
Williams faculty follows the 3 Tiered Multi Tier System of supports in academics and social emotional learning. As a collaborative group of professionals, we take pride in the details that develop student success plans for every child.
Williams Elementary School has a very active and successful PTO. Thanks to the volunteers and PTO supporters we have new playground equipment that was installed in May 2016. Our PTO sponsors multiple free family events throughout the year and bring enrichment programs into our school. They financially support our partnership with the Massachusetts Audubon Society residency with our 3rd grade students each year. Our PTO also hosts parent workshops in Literacy and Social Emotional Health, presented by our reading Specialists, and School Adjustment Counselor.
Williams School Council is comprised of 3 parents, our business partner, Greylock Federal Credit Union, and faculty members. We meet 5-6 times a year. Thanks to the efforts of our School Council and our business partner, we have been able to outfit classrooms with projectors and document cameras. |
