Oxford School is one of four K-5 elementary schools in the Fairhaven Public School System. It is located at 347 Main Street. Currently the student enrollment includes 255 children. General academic instruction based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks is available for our students. Additionally, all children receive weekly instruction in art, gym, music, health and technology. We also offer Title I support services for eligible students in reading and math. Special Education services are available for students who qualify and include academic support, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Oxford School has a fourth and fifth grade band and orchestra and instrumental music lessons are available for these students. Third grade students receive weekly recorder lessons. In an effort to meet all of the needs of our students, school based counseling services are also offered to our families. Oxford School has an active PTO which raises money to promote many extracurricular opportunities for our students.
