Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Annual Goals - 2022
Goal #1 Facilitate the development and adjustment to the curriculum to create a through-line of topics/experiences. Instructors will connect and build off multiple courses and make connections that will inform a theory-based definition of leadership.
Goal #2 Continue the Implementation and monitoring of internal and external supports for Supervising Practitioners and Program Supervisors with newly appointed Program Director.
Goal #3 Review existing modes of communication with newly appointed Program Director to provide candidates with high-quality, targeted feedback during field-based experiences.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 Implement and monitor internal and external supports for Supervising Practitioners and Program Supervisors.
Goal #2 Implement improved modes of communication to provide candidates with high-quality, targeted feedback during field- based experiences that improves their practice (i.e. student and supervisor surveys, regular emails, and interviews.)
Goal #3 Review program curriculum in detail and create an updated curriculum map to better identify and align standards, domains and elements; responding to revised professionals standards for administrative leadership.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 Explore internal and external supports for Supervising Practitioners and Program Supervisors to receive training, support and development that impacts candidate effectiveness.
Goal #2 Explore improved modes of communication to provide candidates with high-quality, targeted feedback during field-based experiences that improves their practice.
Goal #3 Modify program offerings and supports for continuous improvements based on feedback solicited from internal and external stakeholders including candidates, graduates, district and school personnel, and employers.
