Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.
Data last updated October, 04 2023.

Annual Goals - 2022
Goal #1 We will continue working on establishing pareners.
Goal #2 We will continue to streamline our SMK work into programs and make changes as necessary based on feedback from subject matter leaders.
Goal #3 We will continue to implement and refine the anti-racist initiatives and culturally responsive teaching.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 Although we held several meetings in Public school districts in 2019-2020, once Covid hit school district priority was elsewhere and we will continue to work on developing meaningful partnerships in the coming school year.
Goal #2 In Fall 2020 we implemented an anti-racist piece to each required course in the program. We will continue to fine tune that important work.
Goal #3 We will continue to work at streamlining our current requirements for proving fluency in the framework standards for all candidates. It was an overwhelming task for candidates this year especially because of COVID and the additional work burden the pandemic caused educators.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 Continue to work on building partnerships. We had reached out and/or had meetings with administrators in various public school districts and were in the process of negotiating partnership arrangements. The COVID-19 virus hit and slowed down our progress because our priorities and district priorities are currently elsewhere as they should be. We will continue to work on partnerships once the COVID situation resolves.
Goal #2 We will continue to work on finalizing our new field based experiences that have been added into new or additional classes.
