Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

| Goal #1 |
Prepare for new DESE standards and CAP trainings by preparing faculty and supervisors and updating our trainings. |
| Goal #2 |
Make clearer to our partners and supervisors what opportunities are available to them through Tufts as a whole, including professional development, galleries, events, etc. |
| Goal #3 |
Create a landing page for information to share with supervisors including but not limited to: recordings from sessions, changes that are needing to be implemented, and also create a forum for supervisors to ask questions and chat with other supervisors. |

| Goal #1 |
We plan to have more presence in schools and continue to develop our relationships with schools. We will share the many resources and opportunities that the Tufts University as a whole offers that may be of interest. We hope to identify one or two districts to create more in depth partnerships with, while still maintaining those relationships with our other smaller districts and communities. |
| Goal #2 |
In response to DESE's new guidelines, we our analyzing our program materials, syllabi and thinking about how to continue to develop culturally responsive educators and create an environment that supports all learners in our programs. We will be using the new rubrics and guidance in our program next year. |
| Goal #3 |
We have seen as an organization the need for more professional development for teachers who are pursuing their professional license. We will continue with our efforts to provide professional development workshops for our supervisors. Additionally, we will be preparing to pilot a new Art Education track within our MA in Educational Studies for in-service teachers who need a masters and grad credit to apply for the professional license. |

| Goal #1 |
We are keeping our previous year's goal of identifying the challenges and create solutions for attracting under represented teacher candidates in our programs. This is an ongoing issue that we are working to address |
| Goal #2 |
We plan to utilize the feedback from our external review to consider areas for growth and improvement within the program. One area we are considering is to potential get into undergraduate initial licensure. |
| Goal #3 |
Recruiting supervising practitioners has proved difficult post COVID. We plan to address this by continuing to build our connections with our partner schools, increase our honorarium payments to our supervisors. We also plan to recruit supervisors by offering professional development through trainings, and will find out what areas in-service teachers are needing for professional development. |
