Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

In the graduate teacher ed. program, we hope to expand resources and supports for MTELs for candidates within the program. |

At the undergraduate level, recent revisions to curriculum were made to better align coursework with Early Literacy criteria. Our goal with this new curriculum is three pronged. 1.Training adjunct professors 2.Incorporating new pre-practicum experiences aligned with Early Literacy Criteria. 3.Reviewing CURATE for high quality curriculums for teacher candidates |

In the Graduate Teacher Preparation programs, remove barriers to application, enrollment, and retention of diverse educators in our program. |

In the undergraduate education program, improve access to accelerated dual degree programs to equip UG licensed educators with pathway to a second license and master's degree. |

Evaluate and revise the undergraduate advising structures (including systems and forms) and restructure supports for students at risk per their pre-prac evaluation ratings, gateway scores assessment challenges and faculty concern. |
