Annual Goals - 2023

Annual Goals - 2022
Goal #1 We plan to build on what we have learned about the use of technology; and integrating the use of technology, specifically in professional development, coursework, and working with partners to support teaching in various modalities. ( e.g hybrid classes, analysis of teaching on video platform, lesson planning with use of technology for students, data collection tools )
Goal #2 Goal: We are working to design school-wide structures to support the skills and habits of residents to use multiple sources of data to improve student engagement and learning. e.g. Common Planning Times, Sacred meeting, FLEX time, content courses.
Goal #3 We continue to implement programmatic structures that promote an anti-racist practice in support of dismantling white supremacist trends and ideology in teaching & learning. e.g Race-based groups ( Educators for Black Liberation) that meet monthly to explore issues of equity, identity, and pedagogy, Language Power and Democracy course, Flextime.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 Goal: We plan to build on what we have learned about the use of technology; and using it to scaffold our preparation program, specifically in professional development, coursework, and working with partners to support teaching in various modalities.
Goal #2 Goal: We are working to design school-wide structures to support the skills and habits of residents to use multiple sources of data to improve student engagement and learning. E.g. Child study, Common Planning times, Strategic Planning for Academic Achievement ( SPA) Days.
Goal #3 Goal: We continue to implement programmatic structures that promote an anti-racist practice in support of dismantling white supremacist trends and ideology in teaching & learning. We believe that because racism in the U.S. is rooted in anti-Black racism and White supremacy, it is important that our work on becoming an increasingly anti-racist teacher preparation program focuses on dismantling anti-Black racism and White supremacy.
