Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed. Data last updated October, 04 2023.

Design and implement new Administrative anti-racist standards_in all courses. |

Further design performance based assessments base on the Frameworks sessions designed by DESE. |

Educator preparation program improvement goals from the prior year |
Goal #1 |
Write and implement structures to demonstrate evidence for addressing candidates at risk. A specific student-at-risk form will be written with signatures that the action plan is or is not implemented. Supervisors will receive an overview of a definition of a candidate-at-risk and be trained in identifying such candidates and reporting to the LLP Coordinator. The LLP Coordinator will conduct monthly interviews with each supervisor and instructor to insure candidates are meeting the practicum and LLP requirements. LLP will develop a written waiver policy |
Goal #2 |
LLP will conduct a thorough review portfolio assessment and other assessment procedures to insure they accurately reflect a candidate's readiness for the licensure role. Monthly communication between the LLP Coordinator, supervisors, mentors, and instructors will be conducted by the LLP Coordinator with attention to targeted feedback to candidates. All of these stakeholders will better understand the final determination of each candidate for licensure |
Goal #3 |
LLP will develop a written evaluation system for each supervisor. To insure greater support for each candidate. In addition, the LLP Supervisor/Mentor Handbook will be updated to address issues articulated in the DESE Formal Review. |
