Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Annual Goals - 2022
Goal #1 We hope to establish an alumni of color advisory board to leverage program data to inform and advise our institution's programming.
Goal #2 We hope to embed culturally responsive and anti-bias teaching best practices into the experiences of our second year students through their online coursework in the second year of the program.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 We hope to expand the number of year one K-12 practicum sites to also include traditional public school districts.
Goal #2 We plan to imbed culturally responsive and anti-bias best practices across Sposato coursework.
Goal #3 We hope to establish an alumni of color advisory board to leverage program data to inform and advise our institution's programming.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 In the coming year, we hope to maximize the number of "full-responsibility" practicum hours for all our trainees, no matter their position in our partner schools.
Goal #2 In the coming year, we are seeking to appropriately calibrate Sposato coursework and practicum experiences, in alignment with the unique challenges presented by COVID-19.
Goal #3 In the coming year, we aim to build on our successes in retaining non-white students in our program.
