Data last updated October, 04 2023.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 To leverage the newly developed identity as a single SO across all our licensure programs to support quality, efficiency, innovation, and use of resources. We look forward to regular gatherings, occasional retreats, and shared support from our new Educator Licensure Program Manager.
Goal #2 To embrace the creation, collection, and analysis of data for ongoing improvement within and across programs and including data from our own inquiries and from DESE sources, and then to track implementation of changes.
Goal #3 To explore how programming will change with the implementation of the AntiRacism Domain that will be forthcoming from DESE. This parallels efforts within Simmons and will shape recruitment, professional development, advising, curriculum, and field based experience, all of which will impact candidate experience.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 All educator prep programs across Simmons work together to regularize feedback from stakeholders to improve consistency of such feedback and implement systematic response to cause improvement, for example, in continuous review and revision of field experiences and curriculum for inclusion of SMK requirements.
Goal #2 Cross program updates on partnerships each semester, sharing ways to support partners post-COVID-19, improving working relationships with current partners, and forging ahead with new partnerships, for example with Boston Public Schools for the field of school library teachers.
Goal #3 Work with placement sites to ensure that field-based learning will continue to be robust post-COVID 19, especially at the vulnerable but important pre-practicum level for the teaching programs.

Annual Goals - 2019
Goal #1 Faculty are working on an inclusive program model that integrates general education and moderate SPED courses
Goal #2 Having a successful program review visit.
Goal #3 Working on establishment of partnerships in select local schools.
