This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Annual Goals - 2020
Educator preparation program improvement goals for the upcoming program year
Goal #1
The number and quality of field-based pre-practicum experiences will be increased and will include formal feedback.
Goal #2
Formal partnerships with the Office for Multicultural Affairs and Academic Advising will be formed to increase the percentage of underrepresented candidates entering the program through targeted recruitment activities.
Goal #3
Data/feedback collected through the Noyce Capacity Building grant will be analyzed and used to drive next year's improvement plan.

Formal school partnerships will be formed in order to provide higher quality pre-practicum field experiences.

Hire a part-time staff member to implement new and improve existing field-based experiences.

Feedback will be effectively gathered from and changes based on feedback communicated to external stakeholders

Implement a process to evaluate internal and external partnerships.
Goal #2
Develop and implement continuous improvement advisory committees that provide the mechanism by which faculty, instructors, and staff can provide feedback and contribute to the program's continuous improvement efforts.

Hire a part-time staff member to implement direct efforts and develop partnerships to recruit and support a diverse candidate pool.
