Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 Enhance curriculum focus and monitor pedagogical skills development of candidates in the area of Subject Matter Knowledge and Pedagogy.
Goal #2 Provide continued training and support to program supervisors and supervising practitioners to promote candidate effectiveness. Support will focus on helping supervisors use CAP online effectively as well as on enhancing supervision skills.
Goal #3 Develop improved advising and response to candidates who are at-risk of not meeting standards.

Annual Goals - 2019
Goal #1 Provide continued training and support to program supervisors and supervising practitioners to promote candidate effectiveness. Support will focus on helping supervisors use CAP online effectively as well as on enhancing supervision skills.
Goal #2 Continue to identify partner needs and provide ongoing collaboration and professional development to partners.
Goal #3 Enhance curriculum focus and monitor pedagogical skills development of candidates in the area of holding "high expectations" for all students.

Annual Goals - 2018
Goal #1 Provide increased training and support to program supervisors and supervising practitioners to promote candidate effectiveness.
Goal #2 Identify and enhance Tufts response to needs of PK-12 districts/schools
Goal #3 Monitor pedagogical skills development of candidates in the areas of 'meeting diverse needs' and 'creating a safe learning environment' to evaluate curricular changes.
