Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 |
Assumption College will fully implement the use of gateway assessments across all of its teacher preparation programs. |
Goal #2 |
Assumption College will fully align their programs of study to the new subject matter knowledge requirements. |
Goal #3 |
Assumption College will launch two new programs: Autism Endorsement and Transition Specialist Endorsement. |

Goal #1 |
Assumption College will increase the percentage of TCs experiencing a full-year placement to seamlessly transition from pre-practicum into practicum and experience the curriculum, classroom setting, etc. throughout the year. |
Goal #2 |
Assumption College will fully implement pre-practicum observations for all teacher candidates. |
Goal #3 |
Assumption College will implement its partner survey for a second year to continually assess our programs. |

Develop and implement a STEM concentration option for elementary teacher candidates to prepare our teacher candidates for the needs of the field. |

Create an Assumption Advisory Council with our school district partners to support our teacher candidate preparation through additional input from the field. |
