Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 Provide the pedagogical supports necessary to ensure that all instructors attain the highest quality delivery of content possible in the interest of candidate learning.
Goal #2 Connect with the African-American and Latinx print media to encourage applications from unique stakeholder groups to support a more diverse cohort demographic.
Goal #3 Develop and implement a more comprehensive and outcome-based Supervising Practitioner training.

Annual Goals - 2018
Goal #1 Continue work in the prior year's Goal #2, building the template and documentation relative to field based experiences that lead to improved broad-spectrum subject matter content knowledge.
Goal #2 Continue the work in prior year's Goal #3, employing the knowledge and experience of a team to develop a summative assessment to be employed prior to candidates' program completion.
Goal #3 Review and reflect on the evolving skill set needs of school business administrators as unique contributors to resourcing school districts. Ensure that preparation touches on the unique needs of regional, municipal, collaborative, and vocational schools such that candidates are prepared for success in any traditional public school who employs them.
