Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Annual Goals - 2020
Goal #1 Explore internal and external supports for Supervising Practitioners and Program Supervisors to receive training, support and development that impacts candidate effectiveness.
Goal #2 Explore improved modes of communication to provide candidates with high-quality, targeted feedback during field-based experiences that improves their practice.
Goal #3 Modify program offerings and supports for continuous improvements based on feedback solicited from internal and external stakeholders including candidates, graduates, district and school personnel, and employers.

Annual Goals - 2019
Goal #1 Review and implement program improvements based upon DESE Sponsoring Organization program review findings, as well as feedback from current and past students, and seek input from Partnership members.
Goal #2 To build an active and robust alumni network through improved electronic record keeping and outreach in partnership with MASS, Boston College, and Teachers21.
Goal #3 To increase visibility on a regular basis at Massachusetts educators professional association events and meetings, and to better coordinate with Boston College at their recruiting events, consistent with the Boston College mission to actively address social justice and diversity.

Annual Goals - 2018
Goal #1 Continue to review and adjust PSAP's/LLPS's strategy to recruit, every other year, cohorts of students that reflect the diversity of our state in our ongoing commitment to prepare district level leaders for Massachusetts school districts.
Goal #2 Develop and implement a cyclical review and update plan focusing on the content of the seven modules and its alignment with the Massachusetts Professional Standards for Superintendents.
Goal #3 Implement a succession process that ensures a smooth transition as a new LLPS Administrator takes charge.
