This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 We are looking into more creative ways to recruit strong people who are passionate about teaching in high-performing urban public schools, in an increasingly competitive job market.
Goal #2 At our partner school sites, we aim to increase the time trainees spend observing master teachers.
Goal #3 In the coming year, we hope to continue to increase recruitment and retention of candidates who self identify as people of color.

Annual Goals - 2017
Goal #1 In the coming year, we are looking forward to a more diverse set of practicum placements within the MATCH schools. We will be striving to preserve coherence for the candidate experience while appropriately differentiating to meet the needs of trainees with different types of student teaching placements.
Goal #2 In the coming year, we hope to double the number of partner schools from where we get our candidates. We will be striving to preserve coherence for the candidate experience while appropriately differentiating to meet the needs of trainees with different schools.
Goal #3 In the coming year we'll be striving to enhance the recruitment and retention of candidates who self identify as people of color.
