Progress Toward Goals - 2016
Goal #1 Establish deep interactive partnerships with school districts to inform student assignments, practicum activities and dissertations in practice. Members of PSAP/LLPS Cohort #5 have completed Equity Audits in a number of their home school districts (e.g. Somerville, Newton, Falmouth, Hudson, Boston etc.). In addition, dissertation in practice groups are in the process of making final arrangements to conduct their research in districts with significant experience with turnaround schools (e.g. Boston, Malden, Lawrence, Southbridge etc.).
Goal #2 Continue to focus on program recruitment. PSAP/LLPS recruits a new cohort of students (20-25) every other year. Therefore, our attention to program recruitment this past year focused on ways to expand our outreach to interested applicants for a Cohort #5 scheduled to begin classes in July 2017.
Goal #3 Continue to focus on curriculum articulation and alignment. LLPS instructors of a couple modules (Family and Community Engagement and Leading Effective Teams) have made progress in addressing curriculum articulation and coordination through the increased alignment of student assignments with the Massachusetts Professional Standards for Superintendents.

Annual Goals - 2015
Goal #1 Increase the ability of PSAP-LLPS to recruit and retain a cadre of students who are committed to leading Mass. School districts and who reflect the diversity of the Commonwealth.
Goal #2 Continue to collaborate and coordinate the PSAP-LLPS curriculum to provide breadth and depth of content, a balance of scholarly and practitioner perspective, while maintaining the unique qualities of the program.
Goal #3 NA no third goal at this time

Progress Toward Goals - 2015
Goal #1 In July of 2015 PSAP/LLPS recruited and selected its most diverse cohort. Cohort #4's membership includes 17 woman, 9 men and 7 persons of color. The students of PSAP/LLPS Cohort 4 work in a variety of settings. For example, 12 are administrators in city school districts, 9 in suburban systems, 2 private in schools, and 1 each in rural and charter settings.
Goal #2 On April 2, 2015, LLPS held a day-long instructor's retreat at Teachers21. The goals of the retreat were as follows: --Introduce LLPS faculty and staff and continue to grow our learning community --Gain clarity about program components --Share best instructional, evaluation and communication practices --Identify areas (curricular, organizational, etc.) needing focus and attention --Suggest module assignments and district activities that could be used in the 500 hour licensure practicum Progress has been achieved in each of the goals listed.
Goal #3 N/A
