Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Professors will develop a protocol for working with teacher candidates so all candidates will be receiving the feedback using the same language |

Goal #1 |
A new way of collecting data has been instituted. Work continues on continually refining the data collection to meet specific needs. |
Goal #2 |
Met with principals and supervising practitioners to learn from each other and refine teacher preparation in order to provide a seamless transition from college courses to classroom practice. |
Goal #3 |
Provided online course for supervising practitioners that used the same vocabulary teacher candidates were using with program supervisors. Program Supervisors worked individually with supervising practitioners for accessing & evaluating teacher candidates. |

Hire a professor who is a math specialist to review the math program and suggest ways to improve and respond to challenges teacher candidates observe in the field in math. |

Identify schools in which the college can further develop the partnerships with schools already begun and who support researched based practices. |

Increase preservice placements in culturally diverse settings. |
