Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Collect and analyze data for Communication and Literacy MTEL tutoring provided by AMC's Student Success Center (now a requirement for EDU 200 Intro. to Teaching). |

Goal #1 |
Require EDU 656 ESL Theory and Practice (SEI Endorsement Course) for all students in Initial Teacher Licensure programs. |
Goal #2 |
Require Communication and Literacy (C&L) MTEL tutoring through the Student Success Center as a component of EDU 200 Introduction to Teaching. This requirement will be for students who have not passed the C&L MTEL prior to taking EDU 200 Introduction to Teaching. |
Goal #3 |
Implement UDL (Universal Design for Learning) planning as a requirement for Initial Teacher Licensure Program courses to include: Intro to Teaching / Foundations & Principles; methods courses; student teaching seminar. |
