Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

a. All course evaluations are now completed on-line by students and summarized electronically. b. Newly hired data and technology specialist was available to each instructor for the improvement of their use of technology. |

All candidates not currently teaching in a diverse setting, spent 2 days in a diverse setting and documented their visit via a required reflection. this requirement was part of the course Adv. Seminar in Curriculum and Teaching. |

| Goal #1 |
Increase the opportunity for candidates to interact with diverse populations by requiring all candidates to spend a minimum of 14 hours during their Practicum in diverse settings and requiring all candidates to successfully complete the ESE-approved SEI course. |
| Goal #2 |
Increase candidate's ability to: a.) integrate technology into curricula and instruction as evidenced in classroom observations during the Practicum and/or implementation of Action Research project b.) collect, manage and analyze data as evidenced in Action Research conclusions and/or course assignments (Curriculum Design, Practicum Seminar, Action Research Part II). |

The 14 hour diversity requirement was amended to one full day due to the fact that the majority of our candidates afre teachers of record; all candidates completed this requirement |
