Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 |
Place more than 50% of graduates in a high-performing school in the Boston Metro Area. |
Goal #2 |
Provide up to 2 hours per week of induction coaching for each Boston Metro alum during the months of August-November; alums rate coaching an average 9 out of 10 on program surveys. |
Goal #3 |
Develop and teach a new 35+ hour course on teaching English Language Learners; course receives an average 9 out of 10 rating from all participants. |

Goal #1 |
We exceeded our goal. 75% of last year's cohort took full-time teaching jobs in Boston, Cambridge, Lawrence, New Bedford. |
Goal #2 |
This goal was met. We provided an average of 2 hours per week of follow-up coaching for all of our Boston Metro alums in the months of August, Sept, and Oct. By the end of Oct, we began to differentiate our coaching dosage based on performance. Additionally, we provided another round of coaching to teachers in January, the first week after the holiday break. |

The course has been developed and is ongoing with four more day-long sessions left to teach this May. We will collect survey ratings at the conclusion of the course. |
