|

Goal #1 |
Spend more time comparing/contrasting our practicum experiences with other schools in Boston. |
Goal #2 |
Formalize the process and pacing by which mentor teachers teach Fellows how to design curriculum. |
Goal #3 |
Reexamine the syllabus to possibly replace one of the texts for Seminar. |
Progress Toward Goals - 2013 |
|
Progress made toward prior program year goals |
Goal #1 |
We haven't made progress on this goal. |
Goal #2 |
We have strict rules now on when students are allowed to use previous materials. For at least two and a half weeks, students need to design every material themselves. This has proven very helpful in pushing students to become independent. |
Goal #3 |
One of our central Seminar texts overlaps with one of the MAT core course texts - The Skillful Teacher. We need to negotiate use of this text to make our students' time more efficiently spent. |
