Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Educator preparation program improvement goals from the prior year
Goal #1 Between May 2013 and September 2013 we will recruit and enroll 10% more candidates in the District Based Dual Licensure Program.
Goal #2 Re-evaluate syllabi for all 6 courses of the DBLP to ensure ongoing program compliance.
Goal #3 Engage academic directors to complete 2 observations each of those DBLP year 3 cohort members seeking licensure in the same academic content.

Goal #1 No progress made. We had to cancel the cohort due to low enrollment.
Goal #2 Some progress made. Changed program back to single licensure.
Goal #3 In some cases this goal was met, however fell short in some content areas.
