Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Educator preparation program improvement goals for the upcoming program year
Goal #1 Implement the new ELL curriculum and Methods course (ES320/520) during the Fall 2013 semester. At the end of the semester, students who took the course will receive a survey to gather feedback on the quality and usefulness of the ES320/520 course, the field experience component, and any changes they would suggest for the next offering of it.
Goal #2 Establish a Teacher Education Advisory Committee, providing input regarding the Eastern Nazarene College teacher education program. This committee will focus on strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement. The first meeting will be held in June 2013, followed by a meeting in October 2013, March 2014 and June 2014. Minutes will be kept for each meeting and data gathered will be used for program improvement.
