Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Educator preparation program improvement goals for the upcoming program year
Goal #1 We were approved to offer certification programs in reading and elementary education at the graduate level. Our goal is to recruit new students to both of these programs in 2013-2014.
Goal #2 In March 2013 we received notification that Bay Path College was approved to charter a chapter of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Our goal is to initiate our first group of members in Fall 2013. We are excited to offer this opportunity to our candidates.
Goal #3 We developed a new RETELL course in Spring 2013. The course is currently being reviewed by ESE. Our goal is to begin offering this course to our students in upcoming semesters.
