Annual Goals

This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Educator preparation program improvement goals for the upcoming program year
Goal #1 Increase the opportunity for candidates to interact with diverse populations by requiring all candidates to spend a minimum of 14 hours during their Practicum in diverse settings and requiring all candidates to successfully complete the ESE-approved SEI course.
Goal #2 Increase candidate's ability to: a.) integrate technology into curricula and instruction as evidenced in classroom observations during the Practicum and/or implementation of Action Research project b.) collect, manage and analyze data as evidenced in Action Research conclusions and/or course assignments (Curriculum Design, Practicum Seminar, Action Research Part II).
