What else should you know about our school?
Grafton Street School works closely with our families and the community to provide a safe school and a climate for success. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is our foundation for providing a safe and secure learning environment. Through our work with Worcester HEARS and Lesley University we creating a trauma-sensitive school. During our fall parent teacher conferences, each student's personal learning goals and the steps to achieving those goals are reviewed. As a strong threefold team, teacher, student and parent we work together to achieve these goals. Our best practices to support student achievement include providing timely formative feedback, academic discourse and evidence based writing. Parents are invited into the classrooms quarterly to share in student learning opportunities and/or student work showcases.
