What else should you know about our school?
Highland Elementary School has a diverse student body including students in district special education programs and English Language Learners from across the district. The administration, faculty, and staff strive to provide a high-quality education and positive school environment for all. We continue to focus on setting high expectations with our students and fostering strong partnerships with families. Instructional staff consistently utilize a wide range of research-based interventions that specifically target individual student learning needs. Student data is monitored on an ongoing basis and plans for both enrichment and remediation are developed. Highland staff maintains participation in professional development to continually improve our instructional practices. Together, we are committed to moving our students forward, both academically and social-emotionally.
