Annual Goals - 2023

Annual Goals - 2022
Goal #1 Adopt Watermark's Student Learning and Licensure (SL&L) to manage our program data. The shift to SL&L will support our efforts for continuous program improvement.
Goal #2 Revise EDU 615 Mentoring New Teachers used to train Supervising Practitioners. This is the first of two courses available to Supervising Practitioners and has been used for several years. Based on survey feedback and now having a second course, it has been determined that a revision of this course will be helpful to Supervising Practitioners.
Goal #3 Articulate program outcomes with assessment for minors in Moderate Disabilities and English as a Second Language.

Annual Goals - 2021
Goal #1 Develop Shalom course for Education majors that will begin the process of working towards intercultural competency and cultural proficiency. It will increase awareness, skills, demographics of schools where our students learn to become teachers. Also audit our education programs to identify where cultural proficiency can be enhanced and where it is already done in order to improve our desire to become more culturally aware so we can meet the needs of our teacher candidates and they can meet the needs of their students,
Goal #2 Develop and implement a second 3 credit graduate course, EDU 616 for supervising practitioners who already took the first course. This course continues to develop supervising practitioners as mentors for our teacher candidates and deepens their practice of supervising.
Goal #3 Structure and scaffold the Student Feedback survey to enhance reflection and CAP elements.
