What else should you know about our school?
The Quinsigamond Elementary School Community is collaboratively engaged in the following best practices; building teacher credibility, developing teacher student relationships and enriching classroom discussions. Teachers at Quinsigamond Elementary School instruct using the Common Core State Standards and a range of techniques to meet the needs of all students. School-wide we use timely formative assessments to check for understanding and inform instruction are utilized. As a school community we collectively and collaboratively use Responsive Classroom techniques to engage and support student ownership of learning.

One hundred percent of Quinsigamond parents are provided with opportunities to become actively involved in their child's educational life with a focus on supporting students as they become a more proficient learner. This is accomplished through a myriad of occasions including; Invitations to school event, participation in PTO and School Council, volunteerism in school activities and school celebrations for student achievement, effort and progress over time. By working with parents our students will be respectful, responsible, lifelong learners who will be our future leaders.
