What else should you know about our school?
The curriculum at Liberty Elementary School is aligned with the Common Core Standards. Through the use of formative and summative assessment data, teachers are able to target instruction to meet students' learning needs. In addition to the academic content areas, students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, media, and Second Step, an anti-bullying curriculum. There is an instrumental program for fourth and fifth grade students as well as a fifth grade chorus. Students in all grades attend educational programs and performances, made possible through PTO funds. Liberty School has an active PTO and a strong sense of community. The Liberty School Road Race, Holiday Bazaar, Bingo Night, and Field Day are some of the special events that take place during the school year. Liberty School organizes community service projects each year including monthly donations to the Braintree Community Food Pantry.
