Mission and Vision Statement:	The mission of Wheelock College is to improve the lives of children and families. The vision is to be the premier college that educates people to create a safe, caring, and just world for all children and families. The College embraces and reflects the multicultural character of the local, regional, national and international communities with which it has ties and fosters an appreciation of diversity among its students. The Education Division Faculty members design, continuously review and strive to improve educator preparation programs that will fulfill the college mission and vision. School/community partnerships with Boston and Brookline, Cambridge and Newton Public Schools have for decades been partners in these efforts.
